September 23-24, 2022 was the time of the ELLS Student Conference with the leading topic „The Interconnectedness of things – A path towards sustainable solutions”. This year the host of this conference was the Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague.

Team of Igor Olech (Warsaw University of Life Sciences, PhD student at the Institute of Economics and Finance, Doctoral School SGGW), Peter Muller (University of Hohenheim) and Chiara Coluccia (Wageningen University & Research) won the prize for the best case study presented during the conference. Team members participated in the intensive programme in Sokoły municipality (Podlaskie region, Poland) in July 2022 and then prepared the project „Ecological practices for maize farming in Sokoły: an introduction to living mulch”.
