We are pleased to invite you to participate in the international scientific conference “Agriculture and its environment during the COVID-19 pandemic”. The conference will be a forum for the debate of the scientific and non-scientific community from Poland and abroad on the determinants and economic and production effects of the pandemic’s impact on agriculture, the sensitivity of agriculture and its environment to the pandemic, and actions concerning agriculture taken by the state during the COVID-19 crisis. The conference will take place on December 16, 2022, at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS-SGGW) and online on the Microsoft Teams platform. Participation in the conference is free of charge.
The conference will address a range of areas, including:
- The effects of the pandemics in the past and the COVID-19 pandemic on agriculture in the light of scientific literature.
- Identification of the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on agricultural production in Poland and in the world.
- Actions taken by the state in relation to agriculture in Poland and other countries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the level of income, expenditure and material standing of farms in Poland and other countries.
- Measuring and assessing the effects of pandemic on agriculture and its environment.
- Threats to the size and structure of agricultural production caused by pandemics.
- The agricultural environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
